Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with 2026 market forecasts and organizational objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, sustainable tech) with transformative potential
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Present technology roadmaps and investment recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Mentor a team of technology analysts and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, or climate tech
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguity and rapid change
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MBA, MS Engineering, or PhD preferred)
- Strong executive presence and persuasive communication abilities
