Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, AI, AR/VR, biotech) for strategic adoption opportunities
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and research teams
- Present technology strategies to C-suite and external stakeholders with compelling data-driven narratives
- Establish KPIs for measuring strategic implementation ROI and competitive advantage
- Build and maintain partnerships with academic institutions and industry disruptors
- Anticipate regulatory and ethical implications of future technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record of scaling tech initiatives to $100M+ revenue impact
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, generative AI, spatial computing, or synthetic biology
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with strategic focus
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Published thought leadership on future technology trends
- Experience leading global cross-functional teams in matrix organizations
- Strong understanding of US tech policy and innovation ecosystems
