Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech integration
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies in controlled environments
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough innovations with commercial potential
- Collaborate with policy advisors to shape regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets for experimental technology initiatives
- Author thought leadership publications on technology's societal impact
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech consulting
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, generative AI, biotechnology, or climate tech
- Proven track record of scaling experimental technologies to commercial viability
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published research or patents in high-impact technology domains
- Experience with technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Strong understanding of ethical frameworks for emerging technologies
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical storytelling
