Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and business objectives
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech convergence)
- Design strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite stakeholders with actionable recommendations
- Manage innovation incubators for experimental 2026-era solutions
- Conduct competitive analysis of next-gen technology adoption patterns
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to prototype future technology integrations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or emerging tech roles
- Proven track record in forecasting tech trends (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle experience)
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains: AI ethics, quantum applications, or neurotech
- Executive-level communication with ability to translate complex concepts
- Experience leading cross-continental innovation initiatives
- Advanced degree in Technology, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation
- Published thought leadership on technology evolution (patents, journals, keynotes)
- Fluency in at least one programming language and data visualization tools
