Responsibilities
- Monitor System Performance: Continuously track server health and network traffic to proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they impact users.
- Ticket Resolution: Manage a high volume of technical support tickets via our ticketing system (Zendesk/Jira), prioritizing urgent issues and providing timely resolutions.
- Client Communication: Provide clear, professional, and empathetic technical support to clients via phone and email during evening hours.
- Security Maintenance: Implement and enforce security protocols to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Incident Management: Lead the troubleshooting process for system outages, coordinating with third-party vendors and on-call engineers when necessary.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of technical issues, resolutions, and system configurations for future reference.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or technical customer service.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows/Linux environments, troubleshooting network connectivity, and managing software installations.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical users.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Education: Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
