The Role
As a Night Shift Technical Support Specialist, you will serve as the critical link between our clients and our technical infrastructure. You will troubleshoot complex issues, manage server maintenance windows, and ensure our systems remain operational 24/7.
Responsibilities
- 24/7 Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues for internal stakeholders and external clients during night hours.
- System Monitoring: Proactively monitor server health, network traffic, and application performance to prevent downtime.
- Incident Management: Document, track, and resolve tickets using our CRM and ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Zendesk).
- Remote Assistance: Provide step-by-step guidance to users via remote desktop tools and phone support.
- Security Protocols: Enforce night shift security policies and perform routine system audits.
- Documentation: Maintain up-to-date knowledge bases and run reports on incident resolution times.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in technical support, help desk, or IT operations.
- Availability: Must be willing and able to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Windows, Linux, and basic networking concepts.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote interaction.
- Education: Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Tools: Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Zendesk) is a plus.
