Responsibilities
- Conduct One-on-One Sessions: Deliver engaging, personalized virtual tutoring sessions to students in K-12 and adult education levels.
- Curriculum Development: Prepare customized lesson plans and study materials tailored to each student's individual learning style and goals.
- Student Engagement: Utilize interactive digital tools and whiteboards to maintain high student engagement and participation.
- Progress Monitoring: Track student progress through assessments and provide constructive feedback to parents and guardians.
- Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with students and the administrative team via email and messaging platforms.
- Technical Support: Troubleshoot basic technical issues to ensure seamless virtual sessions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Education, English, Math, Science, or a related field is preferred. High school diploma and significant experience may be considered for subject matter experts.
- Teaching Experience: Proven experience in teaching, tutoring, or mentoring students in a classroom or online setting.
- Subject Mastery: Deep understanding of the subjects you wish to tutor (e.g., Algebra, Reading Comprehension, History).
- Technical Skills: Must be proficient with basic computer applications, Zoom, Google Classroom, or similar virtual learning platforms.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a patient and encouraging demeanor.
- Reliability: Ability to commit to a regular weekly schedule and meet session deadlines.
