Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, personalized online tutoring sessions across K-12 subjects and test preparation
- Develop customized learning plans aligned with student goals and curriculum standards
- Monitor progress through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback
- Utilize digital tools (interactive whiteboards, screen sharing) for interactive lessons
- Maintain accurate session records and communicate progress with parents/students
- Collaborate with curriculum team to refine teaching methodologies
- Participate in ongoing professional development training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (or equivalent teaching experience)
- Texas state teaching certification preferred (not required for non-certified tutors)
- Proven expertise in at least one core subject (Math, Science, ELA, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Proficiency with video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Google Meet) and digital teaching tools
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple students
- Background check clearance required
- Minimum 1 year tutoring or classroom teaching experience
