Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging, one-on-one virtual tutoring sessions for students in various subjects (K-12).
- Develop customized lesson plans and study materials tailored to individual student needs and learning styles.
- Maintain a positive, encouraging, and professional learning environment during all sessions.
- Track student progress and communicate updates to parents or guardians regularly.
- Utilize virtual whiteboards and educational software (e.g., Zoom, Google Classroom) to enhance the learning experience.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of remote learners.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Education, the specific subject area, or a related field.
- Previous experience in tutoring, teaching, mentoring, or classroom instruction is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace.
- Flexibility to work variable hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate student schedules.
