Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging, one-on-one virtual tutoring sessions via Zoom or Google Meet for students in K-12 and higher education.
- Develop customized lesson plans and study guides tailored to each student's learning style and academic goals.
- Assess student progress through regular quizzes and performance reviews to ensure comprehension.
- Provide constructive feedback and homework help to ensure students stay on track with their curriculum.
- Maintain accurate records of student sessions and attendance using our proprietary learning management system.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and behavioral updates.
- Participate in periodic professional development and training workshops to enhance teaching methodologies.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or holding a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, English, Math, Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in tutoring, teaching, or mentoring students in a remote or in-person setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace for virtual sessions.
- Proficiency with virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, Google Meet) and digital whiteboarding tools.
- Passion for education and a genuine desire to help students succeed academically.
- Ability to adhere to a flexible schedule and meet client deadlines.
