Responsibilities
- Conduct One-on-One Sessions: Deliver engaging and effective tutoring sessions via video conferencing platforms such as Zoom or Google Meet.
- Curriculum Alignment: Tailor lesson plans to meet individual student needs and align with school curricula or standardized test requirements (SAT, ACT, IELTS).
- Student Progress Tracking: Monitor student performance, identify learning gaps, and provide constructive feedback to parents/guardians and academic coordinators.
- Resource Development: Create and maintain supplementary learning materials, practice tests, and interactive study guides.
- Communication: Maintain regular, professional communication with students and parents to foster a supportive and transparent learning environment.
- Virtual Classroom Management: Utilize LMS (Learning Management Systems) effectively to upload homework and track student engagement.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Math, Science, English, History, etc.) or current enrollment in a teaching credential program.
- Experience: Proven experience in teaching, tutoring, or mentoring students in K-12 or higher education.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with video conferencing software, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and virtual classroom tools.
- Reliability: Must be available for scheduled shifts and demonstrate punctuality, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written English skills; ability to explain complex topics clearly and simply.
- Passion: A genuine enthusiasm for education and helping students succeed.
