Role Overview
We are looking for Online Tutors to deliver engaging, personalized 1-on-1 and small group sessions. You will utilize our state-of-the-art Learning Management System (LMS) to facilitate lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and academic goals.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Instruction: Conduct high-quality virtual tutoring sessions in Math, Science, English, or test preparation (SAT/ACT).
- Curriculum Design: Develop and customize lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and curriculum standards.
- Student Engagement: Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
- Progress Tracking: Monitor student performance and provide constructive feedback to parents/guardians on a regular basis.
- Platform Proficiency: Utilize Zoom, Google Classroom, and proprietary EdTech tools to manage virtual classrooms effectively.
- Professional Development: Attend regular training webinars to stay updated on educational methodologies and platform updates.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., Education, English, Mathematics, Sciences).
- Experience: Proven experience in tutoring, teaching, or mentoring students (K-12 or Higher Ed preferred).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a native-level command of English.
- Technical Skills: Reliable high-speed internet connection and proficiency with video conferencing software.
- Reliability: Ability to commit to a consistent weekly schedule and punctual attendance.
