Responsibilities
- Conduct dynamic, one-on-one virtual tutoring sessions tailored to individual student learning styles and needs.
- Develop customized lesson plans and study materials to ensure mastery of curriculum concepts.
- Provide constructive, real-time feedback and assessments to track student progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain a positive, encouraging, and professional rapport with students and parents/guardians.
- Utilize our proprietary learning management system (LMS) to document sessions and upload resources.
- Collaborate with educational coordinators to align tutoring strategies with academic standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field is preferred; equivalent teaching or tutoring experience is highly valued.
- Strong subject matter expertise in Math, English, Science, or History (high school or college level).
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
- Proficient in using video conferencing tools and online educational platforms.
- Must be currently based in Albuquerque, NM, and possess a stable high-speed internet connection.
