Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and student learning objectives
- Monitor student progress through regular assessments and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Provide constructive feedback and academic guidance to enhance student confidence and performance
- Collaborate with parents and EduTutor Pro coordinators to track student milestones
- Maintain accurate session records and progress documentation in our learning management system
- Stay current with educational methodologies and subject-specific best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, English, or related field
- 2+ years of tutoring or teaching experience with proven student success metrics
- Proficiency in virtual tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least one core academic area
- Excellent communication skills with ability to adapt teaching to diverse learning styles
- Patience, empathy, and ability to motivate students through challenges
- Valid Oklahoma teaching certification preferred but not required
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office environment
