Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in core academic subjects
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Louisiana educational standards
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed performance feedback
- Utilize our digital platform for interactive whiteboard sessions and resource sharing
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student development
- Participate in ongoing training and curriculum development initiatives
- Maintain accurate session records and academic progress documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (required)
- Valid Louisiana teaching certification or equivalent tutoring credentials
- Minimum 2 years experience in K-12 education or online tutoring
- Proficiency in virtual classroom platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of Louisiana Common Core State Standards
- Exceptional communication skills and cultural competency
- Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated home workspace
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
