Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues across Windows/macOS/Linux systems via remote desktop and chat support
- Manage ticket queues with SLA adherence, prioritizing critical outages and user accessibility needs
- Document solutions comprehensively in knowledge base systems to enable self-service options
- Collaborate with Tier 2 engineers on complex network and infrastructure troubleshooting
- Conduct proactive system health checks and optimize performance for 50+ remote clients
- Train users on security protocols and best practices for data protection
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to reduce average resolution time
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in remote technical support with proven ticket resolution metrics
- Expertise in Active Directory, VPN configurations, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- CompTIA A+ or equivalent certification preferred
- Exceptional written communication skills with ability to simplify technical concepts
- Proficiency in remote support tools (TeamViewer, AnyDesk, ConnectWise)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision in a virtual environment
- Valid California driver's license for occasional on-site hardware deployment
- Spanish bilingual skills highly desirable for diverse client base
