Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, ELA)
- Develop personalized learning plans aligned with Louisiana state standards
- Utilize interactive digital tools to create engaging lessons
- Provide detailed progress reports to students and parents
- Maintain accurate session documentation in our learning management system
- Participate in monthly professional development workshops
- Collaborate with curriculum specialists to refine teaching materials
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field
- 1+ years of teaching/tutoring experience (certification preferred)
- Proficiency in virtual tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom)
- Strong knowledge of Louisiana state curriculum standards
- Excellent communication and tech literacy skills
- Ability to create engaging digital learning materials
- Background check clearance required
- Spanish fluency a plus
