Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for near-term quantum processors
- Lead research initiatives in quantum neural networks and hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Develop novel error correction techniques for quantum computing scalability
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum AI applications on real devices
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA proposals
- Mentor PhD researchers and foster cross-disciplinary innovation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Computer Science, Physics, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and high-performance computing
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Strong track record of securing research grants
- Experience with NISQ-era quantum processors and cloud quantum services
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into practical applications
