Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum circuits for enterprise-scale applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead prototyping of quantum-resistant cryptographic systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit stability improvements
- Author whitepapers on quantum advantage in machine learning
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum error correction techniques
- Secure patents for novel quantum architectures
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years developing quantum algorithms on real hardware
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum computing
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane frameworks
- Deep understanding of topological qubit implementations
- Experience with quantum annealing on D-Wave systems
- Strong background in quantum error correction codes
