Responsibilities
- Architect and execute quantum computing R&D roadmap for 2026-2030
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Drive commercial applications in cryptography, materials science, and AI optimization
- Secure $5M+ annual research funding through grant proposals and industry partnerships
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Mentor next-generation quantum engineers through our fellowship program
- Collaborate with global academic institutions (MIT, Caltech, ETH Zurich)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 8+ years in quantum computing research with hardware-software integration experience
- Proven track record of securing major research grants ($3M+)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and topological qubit systems
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Strong leadership experience managing research teams of 10+
- Deep knowledge of quantum machine learning algorithms
- US citizenship or permanent residency required for clearance
