Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical applications in cryptography, optimization, and simulation
- Lead experimental validation of quantum computing prototypes using advanced cryogenic systems
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and present at global quantum technology conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional teams in quantum programming principles
- Develop patentable innovations in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Collaborate with industry partners to commercialize quantum solutions for real-world problems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and classical simulation tools
- Published research in quantum information science or quantum computing
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems or trapped-ion quantum processors
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms complexity and error correction techniques
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Ability to secure external funding through competitive grant applications
