Responsibilities
- Perform complex data cleansing, integration, and validation to ensure high-quality datasets.
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or Power BI to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Write advanced SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze large volumes of data from various sources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, operations) to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
- Generate regular performance reports and present findings to executive leadership.
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement through deep-dive analysis.
- Stay current with industry best practices in data analysis and remote data management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence Analyst.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server) and Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Knowledge of Python or R for data manipulation and statistical analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous work environment.
