Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and validate large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analysis and data mining to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
- Reporting & Visualization: Create comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- SQL Querying: Write and optimize SQL queries to extract data from relational databases efficiently.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and recommend data-driven strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable recommendations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in data analysis or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, Excel (Advanced functions), and data visualization tools (Tableau or PowerBI preferred).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Self-Motivation: Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
