Responsibilities
- Analyze complex datasets using SQL, Python, and statistical tools to identify business trends and opportunities
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau/Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Collaborate with product teams to define KPIs and track performance metrics
- Prepare detailed reports and visualizations to communicate findings to non-technical audiences
- Implement data quality protocols and ensure accuracy of all analytics outputs
- Support ad-hoc analysis projects for Sacramento-based healthcare and retail clients
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging data technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and Excel
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker)
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while managing deadlines
- Excellent communication skills for translating technical concepts
- Experience with healthcare or retail data preferred
