Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security alerts, system outages, and user issues during night shift hours
- Provide remote technical support via phone, chat, and ticketing systems for enterprise clients
- Perform system maintenance, patching, and security updates during low-traffic periods
- Document incident reports, troubleshooting logs, and knowledge base articles
- Collaborate with global IT teams during critical incident escalation procedures
- Conduct proactive vulnerability scans and security posture assessments
- Maintain strict compliance with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in IT support or cybersecurity operations
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Proven ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong troubleshooting skills for network, hardware, and software issues
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and ticketing systems (Jira, ServiceNow)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure during security incidents
