Responsibilities
- Provide 24/7 remote IT support via phone, chat, and ticketing systems during night shift hours
- Monitor and respond to security alerts, malware threats, and system vulnerabilities
- Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain cloud infrastructure and network security protocols
- Document incident reports, resolution actions, and knowledge base articles
- Collaborate with global teams to ensure seamless cross-shift handoffs
- Proactively patch systems and implement security best practices
- Conduct periodic system audits and vulnerability assessments
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in IT support or cybersecurity
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Proficiency with AWS/Azure, SIEM tools (Splunk/Syslog), and endpoint protection platforms
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and encryption standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night hours
- Excellent written communication skills for technical documentation
- Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow/Jira) and remote desktop tools
- Willingness to obtain additional security certifications
