Responsibilities
- Provide high-level technical troubleshooting and problem resolution for hardware, software, and network issues via remote channels.
- Manage and prioritize incoming support tickets with a focus on resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Document all technical interactions, resolutions, and workarounds in our knowledge base system.
- Collaborate with the day-shift engineering team to escalate complex issues and ensure seamless continuity.
- Perform routine system checks and maintenance tasks to ensure remote infrastructure stability.
- Conduct remote security awareness training for end-users.
- Maintain a professional, empathetic, and patient demeanor when assisting clients during late-night hours.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (2+ years) in technical support, IT helpdesk, or customer service.
- Strong proficiency with remote desktop tools (e.g., TeamViewer, AnyDesk) and ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Jira).
- Availability to work a consistent night shift schedule (e.g., 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM EST).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Strong troubleshooting mindset and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in IT or related field preferred.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet home office environment.
