Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and respond to alerts during overnight hours (11 PM - 7 AM EST)
- Incident triage and initial response for cybersecurity threats across client networks
- Document security events using SIEM platforms and generate detailed incident reports
- Collaborate with international teams during handover periods for seamless operations
- Conduct vulnerability scans and penetration testing during low-traffic windows
- Maintain compliance documentation and audit trails for regulatory requirements
- Participate in monthly cross-functional security drills and training sessions
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years in IT security operations or cybersecurity support role
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification (CISSP preferred)
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and threat detection tools
- Strong analytical skills for rapid incident assessment and decision-making
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night shifts
- Excellent written communication for incident reporting and handover documentation
- Proficiency in Windows/Linux environments and network fundamentals
- Must be located within Philadelphia, PA metropolitan area
