Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions across core subjects (Math, Science, ELA, etc.)
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and student goals
- Utilize interactive digital tools (whiteboards, simulations, quizzes) to enhance remote learning
- Provide detailed progress reports and actionable feedback to students and parents
- Collaborate with academic advisors to address learning gaps and optimize student outcomes
- Stay current with pedagogical trends and integrate best practices into virtual sessions
- Maintain accurate session records and contribute to curriculum development initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Proven track record of improving student performance and engagement
- Expertise in at least 2 core academic subjects (STEM focus valued)
- Proficiency with virtual teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose learning challenges and implement solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with diverse stakeholders
