Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with state curriculum standards and student learning objectives
- Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide detailed feedback to parents
- Utilize multimedia resources and adaptive learning software to enhance comprehension
- Maintain accurate session logs and progress documentation in our student management system
- Collaborate with academic advisors to address individual student needs and learning gaps
- Participate in monthly professional development workshops and curriculum training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, English, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of teaching/tutoring experience with K-12 students
- CA teaching credential or equivalent certification strongly preferred
- Proficiency in virtual classroom tools (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learners
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least one core academic area
- Clear background check and fingerprinting clearance
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office environment
