Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized 1-on-1 tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, English, History) via video conferencing
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and student learning styles
- Track student progress using our digital dashboard and provide detailed progress reports
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student achievements and areas for improvement
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training workshops
- Maintain accurate session records and adhere to company tutoring protocols
- Collaborate with academic coordinators to optimize student learning outcomes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (or current enrollment in accredited program)
- Minimum 1 year of tutoring or teaching experience (K-12 focus preferred)
- Proficiency in virtual tutoring platforms and digital educational tools
- Strong communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts simply
- Arizona teaching certification or equivalent (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office environment
