Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging one-on-one and small-group virtual lessons in core subjects (Math, Science, English, History)
- Adapt teaching methods to individual student learning styles and academic goals
- Track student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents
- Prepare customized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and academic coordinators
- Utilize digital platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom) for seamless online instruction
- Participate in ongoing professional development training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (required)
- Valid teaching certification in Missouri (preferred)
- 2+ years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Proficiency in virtual teaching tools and educational software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least two core subjects
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Background check clearance required
