Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small-group virtual instruction in core subjects (Math, Science, ELA, etc.)
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with state standards and individual learning goals
- Utilize interactive digital tools (whiteboards, simulations, etc.) to enhance comprehension
- Provide timely, detailed feedback on assignments and progress assessments
- Maintain accurate student records and communicate progress with parents/guardians
- Participate in ongoing professional development for virtual teaching methodologies
- Collaborate with academic team to refine curriculum and teaching strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- 1+ years of teaching/tutoring experience (virtual experience highly valued)
- Valid Colorado teaching license or equivalent subject-matter expertise
- Proficiency in virtual learning platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to engage remote learners
- Strong technology troubleshooting abilities for digital learning environments
