Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, English, History)
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with state standards and student learning objectives
- Utilize interactive digital tools to create engaging, multisensory learning experiences
- Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide detailed progress reports
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student achievements and areas for growth
- Collaborate with our academic team to refine tutoring methodologies and curriculum
- Maintain accurate session documentation and student records in our learning management system
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- Valid Colorado teaching license or equivalent certification
- Minimum 2 years of classroom or virtual tutoring experience
- Proven expertise in at least two core academic subjects
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to connect with diverse learners
- Proficiency with video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Google Meet) and digital teaching tools
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Background check clearance required
