Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with state curriculum standards and student goals
- Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide detailed progress reports
- Utilize digital tools (whiteboards, shared documents, educational software) to create dynamic learning experiences
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student achievements and improvement areas
- Stay updated on Oklahoma's educational requirements and tutoring best practices
- Collaborate with academic coordinators to optimize student learning outcomes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 1 year of tutoring or teaching experience, preferably in K-12 settings
- Proficiency in online tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.) and digital tools
- Strong subject matter expertise in Math, Science, English, or Social Studies
- Excellent communication skills with ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles
- Oklahoma teaching certification preferred but not required for subject-matter experts
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office environment
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
