Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized 1:1 online tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, English, History)
- Develop adaptive lesson plans aligned with Tennessee academic standards and individual student needs
- Utilize our virtual classroom platform for interactive sessions with screen-sharing and digital whiteboards
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents/guardians weekly
- Collaborate with curriculum specialists to refine tutoring methodologies
- Maintain accurate session records and progress documentation
- Participate in ongoing training for emerging educational technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject area (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of tutoring or teaching experience with K-12 students
- Tennessee teaching certification or equivalent credentials
- Proficiency in online tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, our proprietary system)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated home office setup
