Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our secure platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with student learning objectives and curriculum standards
- Track student progress and provide detailed progress reports to parents/educators
- Utilize interactive digital tools (whiteboards, simulations, assessments) to enhance comprehension
- Maintain accurate session documentation and communicate student milestones
- Participate in ongoing professional development to refine tutoring methodologies
- Collaborate with academic coordinators to address student-specific challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, STEM, or related field (or equivalent teaching certification)
- Minimum 1 year tutoring/teaching experience (K-12 focus preferred)
- Expertise in core subjects: Math, Science, English, or SAT/ACT Prep
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to adapt to diverse learning styles
- Proficiency in video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Google Meet) and digital teaching tools
- Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated quiet workspace
- Availability for evening/weekend sessions (minimum 15 hours/week)
