Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, English, etc.)
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with California academic standards
- Track student progress using our proprietary learning management system
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student achievements
- Utilize interactive digital tools to create engaging virtual learning environments
- Participate in monthly educator training and curriculum workshops
- Maintain accurate session documentation and progress reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- 1+ years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- California teaching certification or equivalent credentials
- Expertise in at least 2 core academic subjects
- Proficiency with virtual tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles
- Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated home office space
