Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized 1:1 virtual tutoring sessions in math, science, English, or social studies
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with student learning objectives and curriculum standards
- Utilize interactive digital platforms to create engaging, visually rich learning experiences
- Track student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents and academic advisors
- Collaborate with our education team to refine tutoring methodologies and resources
- Prepare students for standardized tests (SAT, ACT, AP) and subject-specific assessments
- Maintain accurate session records and progress documentation in our learning management system
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, English, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1+ years of tutoring or teaching experience with proven student achievement results
- Proficiency in virtual tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, Khan Academy)
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least two core academic areas
- Excellent communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Wisconsin teaching certification preferred but not required
- Background check and clearances required
