Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Arizona academic standards
- Track student progress and provide detailed performance feedback
- Utilize digital platforms (Zoom, interactive whiteboards) for interactive learning
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student development
- Collaborate with academic team to refine teaching methodologies
- Prepare students for standardized tests (SAT, ACT, AzMERIT)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field
- Arizona teaching certification preferred (not required)
- 1+ years of tutoring or classroom experience
- Proficiency in virtual teaching tools and digital resources
- Strong subject expertise in math, science, or English
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles
- Background check clearance required
