Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging, one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions via our secure video conferencing platform.
- Develop customized lesson plans and study materials tailored to each student's specific learning style and academic goals.
- Assist students with homework, test preparation, and complex subject matter across various disciplines (e.g., Math, Science, English).
- Provide constructive feedback and track student progress to ensure continuous improvement and retention.
- Collaborate with parents and academic coordinators to maintain open lines of communication regarding student performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, the subject matter you wish to teach, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience as a tutor, teacher, or teaching assistant (in-person or remote).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
- Proficiency with technology, including video conferencing tools (Zoom, Google Meet) and learning management systems.
- Reliable internet connection and a dedicated, quiet workspace.
