Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions across K-12 subjects
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and student learning profiles
- Monitor student progress using our analytics dashboard and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Communicate effectively with parents and academic advisors regarding student development
- Utilize interactive digital tools (virtual whiteboards, simulations) to enhance learning experiences
- Participate in ongoing professional development and subject-matter training sessions
- Maintain accurate session records and progress documentation in our learning management system
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years verified tutoring or teaching experience (virtual experience strongly preferred)
- Expert knowledge in at least one core subject area (Math, Science, ELA, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Proficiency in video conferencing platforms and digital tutoring tools
- Certification in pedagogy or education technology (e.g., Google Classroom, Khan Academy)
- Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated quiet workspace
