Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging 1-on-1 virtual tutoring sessions in Math, Science, English, or SAT/ACT Prep
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with student learning goals and school curricula
- Track student progress and provide detailed performance reports to parents
- Utilize interactive digital tools (Zoom, BitPaper, Khan Academy) for dynamic lessons
- Communicate proactively with parents about student achievements and improvement areas
- Collaborate with our academic team to refine teaching methodologies
- Maintain 95%+ student satisfaction through exceptional session quality
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of tutoring/teaching experience (online experience required)
- Expertise in at least 2 core subjects (Math, Science, English, History, etc.)
- Proficiency with virtual learning platforms and digital assessment tools
- California teaching credential or equivalent certification (highly desirable)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to motivate diverse learners
- Reliable tech setup (HD webcam, noise-canceling headset, stable internet)
- Availability for weekday evenings and weekend hours (Pacific Time)
