Responsibilities
- Deliver 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and student goals
- Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide detailed feedback
- Utilize multimedia tools (whiteboards, simulations, digital resources) to enhance engagement
- Communicate progress with parents/guardians and maintain detailed session logs
- Collaborate with academic advisors to address learning gaps and adjust teaching strategies
- Participate in ongoing professional development to refine digital pedagogy skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, English, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of tutoring or teaching experience (remote preferred)
- Proficiency with video conferencing tools (Zoom, Google Meet) and digital learning platforms
- CA teaching certification or equivalent credential strongly preferred
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to adapt to diverse learning styles
- Availability for evening and weekend sessions (Pacific Time)
- Proven track record of improving student performance and engagement
