Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small-group virtual lessons across core subjects
- Develop customized learning plans aligned with student goals and curriculum standards
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents/instructors
- Utilize digital tools (Zoom, interactive whiteboards, LMS platforms) for effective instruction
- Collaborate with academic team to address learning gaps and adjust teaching strategies
- Maintain accurate session records and progress documentation
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance pedagogical techniques
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- CA teaching certification (or equivalent) strongly preferred
- Expertise in K-12 curriculum (Math, Science, ELA, or SAT/ACT prep)
- Proficiency with video conferencing and educational technology
- Exceptional communication skills and cultural responsiveness
- Availability for evening/weekend sessions (Pacific Time)
- Background check clearance required
