Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual instruction in core subjects (Math, Science, ELA, Social Studies)
- Develop personalized learning plans aligned with curriculum standards and student needs
- Utilize interactive platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, proprietary LMS) for dynamic lessons
- Track student progress through regular assessments and detailed progress reports
- Collaborate with parents and academic advisors to support holistic student development
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student milestones
- Stay current with educational best practices and technological innovations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of K-12 teaching or tutoring experience
- Proven ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles
- Strong command of digital communication and educational technology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Kansas teaching certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
- Background check clearance required
