Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging one-on-one and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, English, History)
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with student learning objectives and curriculum standards
- Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide detailed progress reports
- Utilize digital platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, proprietary software) for seamless virtual instruction
- Collaborate with academic advisors to address individual student needs and learning gaps
- Maintain accurate session logs and documentation for billing and quality assurance
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance tutoring techniques and subject expertise
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of teaching/tutoring experience with demonstrated student success
- Proficiency in virtual teaching tools and educational technology
- Arizona teaching certification or equivalent credential (may be waived for exceptional subject experts)
- Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to simplify complex concepts
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple students simultaneously
- Background check clearance and reliable high-speed internet connection
- Availability for evening and weekend sessions (Arizona time)
