Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual lessons across core subjects (Math, Science, ELA)
- Develop customized learning plans aligned with state standards and student goals
- Utilize our LMS platform to track progress and provide detailed feedback
- Communicate effectively with parents and students regarding academic milestones
- Participate in ongoing training on pedagogical strategies and digital tools
- Collaborate with curriculum specialists to enhance lesson effectiveness
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject area (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of teaching/tutoring experience (K-12 focus)
- Proficiency with virtual classroom platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom)
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least two core disciplines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt to diverse learning styles
- Kentucky teaching certification or equivalent (required)
