Responsibilities
- Deliver 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, English, History)
- Develop personalized learning plans aligned with student goals and curriculum standards
- Utilize interactive digital tools (whiteboards, quizzes, simulations) for dynamic lessons
- Track student progress through our LMS and provide detailed performance reports
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student achievements and challenges
- Participate in ongoing training and curriculum refinement workshops
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adherence to child safety protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Proficiency in virtual tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, Prodigy)
- California teaching credential or equivalent certification (required)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Proven ability to engage students in remote learning environments
- Background check and TB clearance (mandatory)
- Availability for evening/weekend sessions (Pacific Time)
