Responsibilities
- Conduct Live Sessions: Deliver personalized, 1-on-1 virtual tutoring sessions via Zoom or our proprietary learning platform.
- Curriculum Alignment: Align lesson plans with state standards and student individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Student Engagement: Foster a positive, encouraging learning environment to boost student confidence and academic performance.
- Progress Tracking: Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to parents/guardians.
- Technical Support: Troubleshoot minor technical issues for students to ensure seamless lesson delivery.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Education or subject matter preferred.
- Experience: Previous tutoring or teaching experience (K-12 or higher education) is highly desirable.
- Location: Must reside in Sacramento, CA (or surrounding areas) for compliance reasons.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with video conferencing software (Zoom, Google Meet) and learning management systems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a patient and empathetic demeanor.
